It is important for both of us to know if we are the right fit for each other when it comes to achieving your health and fitness goals.

To enable us to figure this out, I run a two-stage consultation process. First we will have a quick chat over the phone or (email exchange if you prefer) to scratch the surface of your health and fitness goals. Then, assuming we are a good fit together, we will meet for a good in-depth chat.

I like to put a name to a face, which is why I have in-person chats with potential new clients – either together over coffee or online via a web-based video call.

Together we can get to the heart of what really matters to you and how this translates into attainable, realistic and sustainable goals that you can set yourself – and I can help you achieve.

In-person 1:1 personal training is ideal for you if you…

Are new to strength/fitness training and would benefit from real-time guidance and feedback on your form and technique before flying solo on your workouts.

Struggle with self-motivation and so having a date in the diary to show up and work out will keep you on track.

Have a tendency to stay in your comfort zone when left to your own devices

1:1 personal training is available to buy in blocks of four, eight or twelve sessions.

You can secure the same slot(s) each week for the entire block or schedule them for different times each week if your life is less predictable.

2:1 IN-PERSON COACHING


Turn your training sessions into a shared adventure by training with a friend who has similar goals and interests to you.

IS IT FOR YOU?

In-person 2:1 personal training is a great option if you…

Have a friend who enjoys the same kind of workouts as you and has similar fitness goals (you don’t have to be at the same level of fitness to train together as you will work to your own levels).

Can co-ordinate your diaries so that you are able to train together for the entire coaching block (different block lengths are available).

Both feel that a bit of friendly competition will help keep you on your game.

2:1 personal training is available to buy in blocks of four, eight or twelve sessions.

1:1 ONLINE COACHING


If you are happy flying solo in your workouts as long as you have a plan to follow and the space/kit you need to get going, then online coaching will work for you.

WHAT IS IT?

Online coaching is both time-saving and more cost-effective than in-person coaching. It enables you to access professional fitness and nutrition coaching no matter where you are in the country and at a time of day or night that fits into your life.

As your training programme, support, reminders and motivation is all delivered to your phone or computer each day / week, it’s like having your fitness and nutrition coach at your fingertips 24/7 (within reason – I do have to sleep!)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Minimum eight-week training programme (12-week and above also available)

1:1 HYBRID COACHING


If you are happy to follow a plan under your own steam but also like the real-time interaction of in-person training, then hybrid coaching is the package for you!

WHAT IS IT?

Hybrid coaching is a blend of remote/online coaching and in-person training. It enables you to follow a result-driven plan when and where you choose with regular one-to-one sessions for real-time feedback and motivation.

You will have a training programme you can access at any time of day or night via your phone or computer and a regular date in the diary for face-to-face coaching sessions to help you really push yourself and unlock your full potential.

HOW I COACH


Your training sessions will be tailored specifically to help you achieve your health and fitness goals and will include activities that you enjoy (this does not mean they will be easy – you are paying me to push you out of your comfort zone towards the G.O.A.T status that awaits you on the other side of effort!)

My programmes are geared towards exercises and workouts that will support you in building a body that is fit for purpose (functional), happy and healthy (balanced) and ready to take on the world (resilient).

WHERE I COACH


I am based in Northampton, UK.

I have a small home fitness studio (well OK it’s my adapted garage but studio sounds more fancy, no? 😉 ) where I hold 1:1 personal training sessions.

If you have the space and suitable [basic] equipment in your own home, I can travel to you to deliver your personal training sessions (location-dependent). You can also embrace the elements and train with me outdoors if we can find a suitable, safe and accessible venue.

I have invested in tried-and-trusted personal training software that means I can work with you no matter where you are in the country/world by offering online coaching. You can access your programme and keep in regular contact with me from your phone or your computer.
